Primary Function:
Able to multi-task while providing excellent customer service operating the front desk responsibilities for our outpatient office.Job Responsibilities:
Open the office each day. Answer the telephone pleasantly. Route calls as needed. Greet patients with a smile and friendly manner as they arrive for their allergy shot/appointment. Check patients in using our EMR system- eClinicalWorks (eCW). Provide new patients with appropriate paperwork. Verify patient demographic and insurance information for new and established patients
- with 100% accuracy rate. Explain financial and collection policies to new patients
- provide written guidelines to each patient.
Education / Certification
/Licensure Requirements:
High school education or G.E.D. equivalent- required. Two years prior experience in a medical office
- preferred. Certificates/licensure requirements
- none.
Qualifications:
Detailed oriented. Previous experience in a medical office setting- 2 years preferred.
Communication skills including:
fluent in oral and written English- required.
Uniform:
Black scrubs. The practice will annually reimburse for uniform items up to $120.Job Perks:
