Patient Access Representative - PRN _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth Klabzuba Tower, 1300 West Terrell Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: PRN (As needed), 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Community Health Here's What You Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1 year of customer service experience (required)
  • CHAA - Certified Healthcare Access Associate (Upon Hire Preferred)
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (required within 90 days)
Here's What You Will Do:
  • Welcome patients and visitors in person and over the phone using professional, compassionate communication that includes greeting, introduction, clear explanation of processes, expected timeframes, and gratitude.
  • Accurately identify and register patients for Mobile Health visits, ensuring complete and compliant documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Collect and verify demographic, medical, and insurance information, ensuring all required forms and consents are obtained and uploaded appropriately.
  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, obtain necessary authorizations, and communicate coverage details or out-of-network implications to patients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively addressing patient needs, concerns, and questions throughout the registration process.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and departmental privacy standards at all times.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
