Bonus Potential Summary/Objective The Staff Assistant is responsible for operating the telephone switchboard to relay incoming and outgoing calls and for performing miscellaneous cancer center patient access and clerical duties.. Essential Job Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Receives and records telephone messages in a courteous, accurate and professional manner. Follows Department policy regarding telephone etiquette. Consistently provides outstanding service to all patients, physicians, fellow employees, and guests as appropriate to position. Proficient in utilization of computer systems to accomplish position responsibilities and utilizes clerical skills effectively in fulfilling position responsibilities. In collaboration with licensed staff, organizes patient care and general clinic duties to accomplish required functions. Completes all QCL's in a timely manner and scans documents into the EMR in a timely manner and into the correct location. Utilizes EMR efficiently and effectively to assist patients with appointments and other general information. Required Education and Experience N/A Required License/Certifications N/A
