EXPERIENCED
Medical Office Assistant to join our team and provide support to our pulmonology and sleep medicine departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong knowledge of medical terminology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in the medical field.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with patient care and administrative duties. Answer phones and schedule appointments. Verify insurance coverage and eligibility. Prepare patient charts and records. Collect patient data, such as vital signs, medical history, and test results. Assist with pulmonology and sleep medicine procedures. Provide patient education on treatments and medications.
