Job Description

Job Responsibility:
Primary responsibilities are admitting ER patients and assisting the Data Processing Clerk.
Other Job Responsibilities:
1) Answer incoming phone calls. 2) Following all admission procedures, admit ER and outpatients when presented. a) Assign admission numbers and new patient numbers. b) Assisting ER personnel with necessary paperwork. 3) Complete in-patient admitting process when patient is admitted directly from the ER. 5) Assist other Business Office personnel as needed.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Experience:
Familiarity with operating computers and knowledge of general clerical duties preferred. Experience with medical terminology preferred.
