Job Description

Supports the Registrar department, performing tasks that require critical thinking skills, including processing enrollment verifications, providing accurate and complete student records documentation to campus partners, processing course withdrawals, grade changes, and drops. Monitor outgoing transcript requests for fraudulent activity Ensure validity of Education Verification requests, and process them Serve as the liaison between Records/Registrar and special MC groups(Athletics, Health Sciences,ECHS,TAMU,SRSU,PCPP) Research and fix J1 and Perceptive Content issues as needed Assist with graduation preparation and the conferral process Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree; or Associate's Degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience that includes demonstrated work experience with detail-oriented tasks of a significant nature Excellent written and oral communication skills Use tact and diplomacy and maintain a high level of confidentiality Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite In-depth online research experience, including traditional records (property, birth/death, education) and non-traditional means (social media) Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with interruptions and detail-oriented tasks Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a college setting; admissions or registrar's office experience is highly preferred Document imaging experience and knowledge of student information system software Understanding of the Texas Success Initiative, residency requirements, and standard college admission requirements Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds Ability to work extended hours during periods of registration and attend Midland College or community events
