Candidates must be a self-starter with front office medical experience. SWAAA is a group of Board Certified Allergists/Immunologists who is looking for an experienced Front Office Medical Specialist with a great personality that would serve our patients by greeting and helping them in scheduling appointments. Maintaining their health and billing records as well as creating telephone triages and assigning the triages to the appropriate staff member. Following patient privacy by following HIPAA regulations. Tasks may include : Checking in patients, verification of insurance benefits, collection of copays and deductibles, referral authorizations, updating patient demographics and billing information. Maintains business office inventory, organization and time management skills necessary. Ability to work independently and must be a self-starter. Hours are Mondays & Wednesdays 8:15am - 4:30 pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:15am - 6:15 pm. Currently we are closed on Fridays. Employees average approximately 35-37 hours weekly. Graduation from an accredited high school is required. Experience within a medical office is required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus! Computer experience is required.
