Scope of Responsibility The Health Unit Coordinator/Birth Registrar will also perform receptionist duties, assembles and maintains charts, maintains level of department supplies and forms, and completes birth registry. Responsible to Director of Birthing Center Education High school diploma or equivalent Training and Experience Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Obtains and maintains Acknowledgement of Paternity (AOP) Certification Previous experience preferred Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check Lab Work Immunization Records Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day) Occasionally (½ to 2 ½ hour per day) Frequently (2 ½ to 5 ½ hours per day) Continually (5 ½ to 8 hours per day) Not Applicable Physical Sitting
