The Patient Access Specialist serves as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from appointment scheduling to insurance verification. This is a crucial role in ensuring patients have the information and support they need to access care seamlessly. Verify patient insurance and demographic information accurately. Provide strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening. Managing patient flow. Collect necessary paperwork and coordinate with various departments for patient care. Provide excellent customer service and resolve patient questions or issues. What we're looking for: 1-2 years of Medical Insurance verification experience required. 2-3 years of Customer Service experience in the medical field required. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required within sixty (60) days from start date. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with MS Office, EMR/EPM systems. MUST be flexible with schedule; including day, evening, weekend hours, and holidays per facility needs. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Why Work with Us?
