Job Description
Wasatch Physical Therapy is passionate about providing the best experience possible to our patients. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in making that possible and must possess exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively navigate the patient through their experience with Wasatch Physical Therapy. The position's primary duties are: Respond to denials from insurance companies and keep track of rejection patterns by payer and procedure. Provide patients with outstanding customer service by responding to any patient questions regarding insurance related questions or balances. Utilize monthly aged accounts receivable report and/or computer generated tasks to contact payers regarding unpaid insurance related questions or balances. Follow up on insurance and patient payments and process patient and insurance refunds as needed.
