Job Description

Job Overview The Admissions Coordinator plays a vital role in the referral process by working closely with hospital discharge planners, case managers, and referral sources to facilitate timely and appropriate patient placements. This position coordinates with internal clinical, financial, and leadership teams to obtain admission approvals. The Admissions Assistant serves as a key point of contact throughout the referral process, helping to create a smooth transition for patients and families while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Schedule:
Tuesday- Saturday 10am-6pm Key Responsibilities Assist with the admissions and intake process for new residents Coordinate with hospitals, case managers, families, and internal departments Collect, verify, and organize admission paperwork Ensure all admissions documentation complies with state and federal regulations Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding admission procedures Support marketing initiatives, including tracking referrals and maintaining referral source relationships Assist Community Liaison with marketing tasks Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare admissions, reception, or administrative support preferred Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
