As a Medical Office Assistant, you'll: Provide excellent customer service to our patients at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers. Provide surgical scheduling to patients. Check patients in and out. Verify insurance and collect demographics. Collect co-pays. What You'll Need to be

Successful:

High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred. EPIC experience is very helpful! Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.

Salary Range:

Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
