Design and implement individualized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance functional mobility. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and improvements. Utilize evidence-based practices to educate patients and families about their conditions and the prescribed treatment plans to foster compliance and understanding. Provide training in the proper use of assistive devices and mobility aids that facilitate recovery and enhance quality of life. Patient Population / Client Focus The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Our diverse clientele ranges from pediatric to geriatric patients, each requiring tailored rehabilitation approaches based on their unique needs. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
