Position Overview Spring Leaf Physiotherapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopaedic conditions, identifying physical limitations and establishing appropriate treatment goals. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance functional mobility. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and improvements. Utilize evidence-based practices to educate patients and families about their conditions and the prescribed treatment plans to foster compliance and understanding. Provide training in the proper use of assistive devices and mobility aids that facilitate recovery and enhance quality of life. Remain current in professional knowledge by participating in relevant educational workshops and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Patient Population / Client Focus The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Our diverse clientele ranges from pediatric to geriatric patients, each requiring tailored rehabilitation approaches based on their unique needs. By understanding the distinct challenges faced by each demographic, our therapists can deliver effectively targeted care that promotes healing and restores functionality. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on empathetic patient interactions. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and treatment documentation software. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a clinical environment. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates who have undertaken clinical rotations or internships in orthopaedics or outpatient settings will be considered favorably. Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and familiarity with therapeutic modalities and exercise prescriptions will enhance your contribution to the team. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
