Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Access Representative, where your energetic and positive attitude will be the first point of contact for patients entering our facility. In this vital role, you will facilitate a seamless patient experience by managing appointments, verifying insurance information, and ensuring accurate data entry. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures to ensure a smooth arrival process Verify patient insurance coverage and gather necessary documentation for registration Schedule appointments, reschedule follow-ups, and manage patient flow efficiently Collect and update patient demographic and medical information accurately in the system Answer incoming calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient appointments and prepare necessary paperwork Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations Requirements Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient records and documentation Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and insurance verification Office experience, including proficiency with computers and office software applications Dental office experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific procedures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive, energetic demeanor This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to quality healthcare delivery while advancing their administrative skills.
