SPANISH SPEAKING A PLUS
Duties and Responsibilities Manages and processes radiology, prescription and injection authorizations. Calls insurance companies to obtain real-time DME benefits and assists patients with any questions or concerns they have regarding coverage details. Responsible for contacting patient and providing authorization information so they may schedule ordered procedure. Acts as liaison between insurance provider and patient. Documents all insurance related pre-certification information in the patient's electronic chart. Answers incoming phone calls, schedules appointments and accurately relays patient messages to providers. Participates in staff and educational meetings.
