Medical Office Coordinator - Part Time Washington Center for Pain Management - 2.6 Bellevue, WA Job Details Part-time $23 - $27 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Medical scheduling Attention to detail Organizational skills Medical terminology Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Medical Office Specialist to join our team three days per week. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care, front office operations, scheduling, and coordination with our billing and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assist patients with registration, and completion of required forms. Collectbalances, and outstanding patient payments in accordance with company policies. Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits according to established guidelines. Maintain and manage work queues to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Communicate with patients, medical providers, and insurance companies to facilitate coordinated care. Work closely with the billing and team to address patient account inquiries and insurance-related matters. Collaborate with the administrative team to support daily office operations. Update and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality. Adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Perform other administrative, clinical support, and office-related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the practice. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or customer service role preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable collecting patient balances and discussing financial responsibilities. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support various office functions as needed. Schedule Part-Time 3 days per week Day shift We are looking for a team member who is dependable, adaptable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient service while supporting the overall success of the practice.
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
