Cowlitz Family Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center looking for a Patient Services Representative to be the welcoming face of our dental department! In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for dental patients, ensuring they feel valued and cared for from the moment they walk in. The Patient Services Representative plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and via telephone, within our dental department. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, payment handling, data collection, verifying patient eligibility for insurance and healthcare programs, guiding patients and visitors, and carrying out administrative duties Central to the Patient Services Representative's role is the establishment of professional and respectful relationships with patients, contributing to their holistic health improvement and enhanced quality of life. The PSR's work environment is fast-paced, requiring a friendly demeanor, a strong dedication to service, adept decision-making abilities, and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

Requirements:
Required Education and Desired Experience and Skills:
High school or GED 1-3 years of customer service, administrative support and/or office experience, preferably in a health care setting Computer skills, experience with MS Office Suite preferred, EPIC EMR a plus Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work with a low-income, diverse population dealing with behavioral and physical health issues.
