Job Description

1402 Main Street, Bloomer, WI 715-568-1373 We are seeking an outgoing, upbeat, high-energy individual to join our team in our Bloomer location, with occasional days in Chetek. The individual would enjoy working with people, be responsible for providing excellent patient care, and assist in all areas of the office. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment are preferred. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • greeting patients
  • answering phones, calling patients, scheduling appointments
  • working alongside doctors, data entry, chart preparation
  • scheduling referrals and post-operative appointments
  • checking patients in and out
  • receiving and posting payments
  • faxing, scanning, copying
  • pretesting and working with patients
  • confirming appointments
  • using strong technology skills, including detailed and efficient data entry
  • checking insurance benefits
  • working with patients during glasses frame selections
  • checking in orders, dispensing glasses and contacts
Must :
  • be reliable and punctual

  • have excellent computer skills and be willing to learn new programs
  • be a strong communicator with patients, co-workers, and doctors
