Job Summary The Patient Services Representative plays a vital role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Verify patient insurance information and process payments
  • Maintain electronic health records accurately
  • Assist with billing, coding and prior authorization tasks
  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed Requirements
  • Proficiency in medical office procedures and terminology
  • Experience as a medical receptionist or in a dental office is preferred
  • Knowledge of health information management systems
  • Familiarity with phone systems and office management practices
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
