Patient Care Coordinator:
Details and Responsibilities:
Hours of operation: Monday and Wednesday 9-5; Tuesday 9:30-6:30; Thursday and Friday 7:30-5:30
Responsibilities Include:
Taking phone calls and scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out (including collecting co-pays and out-of-pocket costs) Treatment plan presentation (Including insurance estimates) Insurance verification and determination of patient vs. insurance responsibilities Other administrative tasks such as checking email, texts, voicemails, navigating phone lines, and fax (and responding in a timely and proficient/compassionate manner to patient and referral inquiries) Managing the clinic schedule with the goals of ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely service for patients, while keeping the health and well-being of the team members in mind Ensuring cleanliness of the reception area and the comfort of our patients and their loved ones Pay and benefits: Pay range: $24-26 per hours (based on experience) Health insurance Paid time off (vacation and sick time) Short and long term disability IRA with 3% employer matching Introductory period 90 days This is an in-person position with no remote work opportunity Experience in a dental office is a must. Experience in oral surgery will be given priority. Our practice has strong and well-defined core values. The team aligns around these values.
