Job Description

Requirements Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 2-3 years of customer service, reception, or business experience preferred Previous phone experience required Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required Familiar with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred Previous cash handling experience preferred Work Hours We are seeking a full-time (40 hr/week) Pre-Registration Specialist to join our Patient Access Team, Monday- Friday. Job Summary The Clinic Pre-Registration Specialist, under the supervision of the Director of Patient Access, provides meticulous pre-registration of patients scheduled throughout the organization and develops written estimates for patients within the guidelines of the No Surprise Act. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities The Pre-Registration Specialist duties will include, but are not limited to: Ensuring that patients are registered completely and accurately Verifying demographic and insurance information is complete and accurate Developing a written estimate for the self-pay or out-of-network patients within the guidelines of the No Surprise Act by working the work queues
