This position would be working
NIGHTS 1900
to 0700 for a total of 24 hours per week. YOU make your own schedule!! Job Summary The Multi-Care Technician I (MCT I) is a vital member of the patient care team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The MCT I provides basic patient care and supports unit operations by performing a combination of clinical and clerical tasks. Duties may include basic care activities, unit secretary responsibilities, and performing 12-lead EKGs. Essential Functions Provide basic patient care, including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, intake/output documentation Assist patients with bathing, grooming, eating, and other daily activities Report abnormal findings to nursing staff Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms Perform clerical duties to support the nursing station Conduct 12-lead EKGs Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Ability to lift/move patients and equipment Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer use Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills Experience with infection control and hospital safety standards Qualifications Education Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) completion of Nursing Asst, Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Tech program (Required) Or Some College Coursework Completed in an accredited school of nursing to include successful completion of at least 1 semester. (Required) Licenses/Certifications CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant or CMA or EMT Upon Hire (Required) or

Current enrollment in an accredited school of nursing Upon Hire (Required) and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or within facility-specified time frame (Required) Experience 1+ years patient care experience in a hospital setting (Preferred)
Qualifications:
Education Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) completion of Nursing Asst, Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Tech program (Required) Or Some College Coursework Completed in an accredited school of nursing to include successful completion of at least 1 semester.
