POSITION TITLE
Clerk II
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED.
Hold classification title in category of employment or meet the definition of the job title pursuant to WV Code 18-4-8c.
Possess the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully carry out responsibilities of the position.
REPORTS TO
Principal
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Be responsible for the computerized food services program which includes but is not limited to:
a. Use of Morgan County Food Service computer program
b. Count and receipt food services money daily
c. Post individual student food services payments daily
d. Post individual student food services program participation daily
e. Print daily reports
f. Analyze daily reports for accuracy
g. Make necessary corrections daily
h. Prepare monthly student invoices
i. Prepare monthly reports as required by WV Dept. of Education
j. Prepare other reports as needed
k. Verify to parents the student invoice amounts
l. Update information from one computer to another
m. Prepare monthly financial report
n. Transfer all information to S-Master
o. Collect invoices from kitchen daily
p. Provide meal count to kitchen each day
q. Prepare ID cards to be used for food services program and all other school activities.
r. Other food services responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor
s. Evaluate/approve lunch applications
2. Update student data base on computer
3. Maintain a filing system of all information
4. Transcribe, duplicate and mail other information as requested by immediate supervisor.
5. Be familiar with total school functions and be able to relate this to the public
6. Provide support to the school and care for the welfare of children
7. Operate all office machines
8. Perform duties accurately, efficiently, and punctually
9. Maintain and upgrade skills
10. Prepare reports
11. Perform general clerical tasks
12. All other duties deemed necessary by the administrator
