North Platte Physical Therapy's Casper West location is seeking a full time Rehab Technician to join our team. Rehab Technicians work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. They perform tasks that are indirectly related to patient care, such as cleaning and setting up the treatment area, transferring patients, and performing clerical duties. Aides are also responsible for observing patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and reporting to a Physical Therapist. They will help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care, use a variety of techniques to treat patients, and use devices and equipment to help patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the movement, support, lifting and transport of patients before, during and after therapy. Assist clinical staff with preparing patients for therapy and with providing therapy. Maintain treatment area in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Clean and maintain therapy equipment and supplies. Perform assigned clerical tasks, including stocking supplies, filing, scheduling, and answering phones.
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Strong communication skills. Comfortable with talking to and touching patients. Punctual and conscientious work habits. Willing to learn new things and step in when and where needed to provide the best care to patients. No prior experience as a rehabilitation technician is necessary, but a background and/or interest in health or fitness is a plus.

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
