This is a large, advanced neonatal unit caring for some of the most fragile patients in the state, including extremely premature infants.

Shift:

1 Night Shift (7P-7A)

Unit Details Patient Population:

Mixed acute and chronic respiratory conditions; primarily

NICU NICU

Capacity:

Up to 130 beds ; accepts transfers statewide

Gestational Age:

21.5 weeks and above (300-500 gram preemies)

Unit Layout:

40 rooms with up to 3 babies per room

Ratios:

2:3-4

Floating:

May float to Critical Care Nursery Required Experience 2+ years of recent inpatient acute NICU experience L4 or L3 NICU strongly preferred Conventional & oscillator vents Jet ventilation Umbilical lines Hypothermia Neonatal respiratory care Cerner EMR experience Previous travel experience required

Schedule & Contract Details Shifts:

Nights 7P-7

A Hours:

36 hours/week

Contract Length:

13 weeks

Weekends:

Every other weekend

Holidays:

Every other holiday Required Certifications & Licensure NBRC (RRT or CRT)

BLS NRP PALS
