Job Description:

The respiratory therapist provides direct patient care in a critical care setting, uses critical thinking to assess patients and anticipate changes in condition, and participates in the interdisciplinary functions of the hospital. North Alabama Specialty Hospital values a collaborative approach between our respiratory therapists, nursing team, medical staff, and the administrative team to provide high quality patient outcomes.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education/Certifications:

Current license from the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy and must be certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Experience:

Hospital experience required; ICU experience preferred. New graduates accepted

Additional Skill/Abilities:

BLS & ACLS

required, Ventilator and tracheostomy experience preferred.

SIGN ON BONUS FOR 1 YEAR COMMITMENT FOR FULLTIME

Pay:

$26.50 - $42.35 per hour
