Job Description

Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This travel opportunity lets you discover the charm of Central Alabama, explore captivating historic sites, and unwind in nearby parks and scenic escapes on your days off. This assignment provides a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a progressive healthcare environment, including exposure to a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and a Primary Stroke Center. You'll work alongside experienced teams, strengthening your skills and expanding your clinical acumen while gaining valuable perspectives on collaborative care and innovative leadership.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour day shifts 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Every other weekend rotation Holiday coverage: one major and one minor per assignment policy Voluntary on-call opportunities Up to 7 days approved time off (excluding blackout dates)
What You'll Do:
Deliver respiratory therapy across all hospital settings including Adult and Level
III NICU
(past 12 months NICU experience required if NICU position) Perform general and critical care, including ground transport, Nitric Oxide administration (for NICU therapists), and ventilator management using
PB 840, PB
980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo Document patient information using Cerner EMR, Omnicell for med dispensing, and Spacelabs monitoring equipment Float to like units/patient locations as necessary, with NICU therapists also supporting adult care Participate in comprehensive orientation: 24 hours classroom + 24 hours unit-based
Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered with minimum 2 years' experience BLS certification, NRP for NICU;
ACLS/APLS
preferred At least 2 years' recent experience, including Cerner or
EPIC EMR
proficiency Prior experience in Level
III NICU
within past year (for NICU role) Effective communication, flexibility, and commitment to collaborative practice
