Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Step into an important role providing high-quality respiratory care for patients within a respected healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a driven and compassionate Respiratory Therapist. The assignment begins July 20th and offers the chance to make a real impact alongside dedicated clinical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and other therapeutic procedures Operate and maintain ventilators, airway management devices, and diagnostic equipment Document patient assessment findings, progress, and response to treatment accurately in medical records Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations requiring advanced airway support or resuscitation Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and wellness strategies
Desired Experience & Credentials:
Current credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Active state license as a Respiratory Therapist Experience in acute care, critical care, or emergency respiratory therapy preferred Strong clinical assessment and ventilator management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to safety and quality patient care
