Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Step into an essential role providing quality respiratory care in a hospital setting dedicated to serving diverse patient populations. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) and Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) who have a passion for supporting patients with a variety of critical and general care needs. Work in a flexible shift schedule, with options for either 36 or 48 hours per week, and make a significant impact while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team.
Schedule & Hours:
12-hour night shifts (7:00pm start) 36 or 48-hour workweek contracts available Days and nights options available Weekend rotation: every other weekend Voluntary on-call opportunities
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Current RRT or CRT certification (CRT must have at least 2 years of recent experience) BLS certification required;
ACLS/APLS
preferred Minimum of 2 years' recent experience for non-first-time travelers; first-time travelers accepted with adequate clinical and Cerner/EPIC software experience Proficiency in both adult general and critical care respiratory therapist duties Experience using Cerner EMR, Omnicell medication dispensing, Spacelabs monitors, and ventilators including
PB 840, PB
980, Drager VN500,
LTV, and Airvo Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective respiratory therapy to patients throughout the hospital, adapting to a mix of patient ratios based on staffing Float to similar care units or locations as needed to meet patient care demands Participate in comprehensive orientation, including 24 hours of classroom learning and 24 hours of hands-on training for new or returning travelers
