Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state licensure or eligibility for timely reciprocity Current BLS certification (Advanced Life Support certifications are a plus) Recent clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures in accordance with physician orders Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatment Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and care plans
