Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Take your respiratory therapy skills to the next level in a contract role within a dynamic healthcare environment. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong respiratory therapy credentials looking to contribute to patient care through specialized expertise.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour day shifts per week 36 hours per week guaranteed
Key Qualifications:
Active California Respiratory Therapist license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Recent (within 12 months) negative TB test required Experience providing comprehensive respiratory assessments, therapy, and interventions
Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and ventilator support to patients across all age groups Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health providers to deliver optimal patient care Assess patients' respiratory status and progress, adapting therapies as clinically indicated Maintain accurate and timely documentation following facility protocols Ensure safe operation and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment
