Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your career as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic hospital setting, providing specialized respiratory care to diverse patient populations. This contract opportunity offers a structured schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week, ensuring a consistent work-life balance while delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Schedule:
3x12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week guaranteed)
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted California Respiratory Care Practitioner license Credentialed as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Proof of a negative TB test within the past 12 months Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer appropriate therapies Apply advanced techniques for ventilator management and airway care Monitor patient responses, document clinical interventions, and adjust care plans as needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes Provide support and education to patients and their families on respiratory conditions and equipment Maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
