• Therapist, Fort Bragg, California Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory disorders.
• Evaluate patients and perform diagnostic tests (arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests).
• Develop respiratory treatment plans with physicians.
• Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy.
• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators.
• Manage life-support equipment in critical care settings.
• Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy).
• Respond to emergency situations (cardiac arrest, trauma).
• Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management.
• Educate patients and families about disease management. Certifications/Requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) minimum certification required.

• BLS/ACLS

  certification required.
• State licensure required (49 states regulate respiratory therapy). Experience
• Associate degree or higher from accredited respiratory care program (2-3 years).
• Pass NBRC Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) examination.
• Pass NBRC Clinical Simulation Examination (CSE).
• 2+ years clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
