Respiratory Therapist RT

Golden Harbor Healthcare is looking for 2 compassionate, committed, and skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our team immediately! We are hiring for the following schedules;

PART-TIME, ON-CALL, FULL-TIME, WEEKENDS 10 - 12

hour shifts.

Requirements:

Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology Ability to perform basic life support techniques Experience in S killed Nursing Facility/Geriatrics or acute care settings is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed Monitor and interpret patient's vital signs, including oxygen levels and heart rate- Set up and operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment Assist with airway management procedures, such as intubation and extubation Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management

Physical Capacities :

(With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices) Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Continuous bending, squatting, twisting and reaching. Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility which includes an annual TB screening and physical examination. Must be able to stand for and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Requires infrequent lifting of weight up to 100+ pounds with assistance. Frequent pushing and pulling of carts and transporting residents. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.

Environmental conditions:
