Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career by making a meaningful impact as a Respiratory Therapist within a leading clinical environment. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about patient-centered respiratory care, offering the chance to work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour day shifts each week 36 hours per week guaranteed
Qualifications:
Active California Respiratory Therapist license required Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist credentials needed Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Proof of a negative TB test within the past 12 months Strong interpersonal and clinical skills Experience working in acute care or hospital settings preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapeutic interventions for diverse patient populations Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement patient care Provide ventilator management, pulmonary function testing, and emergency airway support as needed Accurately chart all treatments and patient responses Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and equipment Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure patient safety
