Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory therapy, with experience in various settings including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities. Educate patients and families on respiratory health, medication administration, and home care techniques. Participate in emergency response situations as needed, utilizing skills in basic life support and critical care. Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy practices and medical terminology. Requirements Valid Respiratory Therapist license with relevant certifications. Experience in hospital settings, particularly in ICU environments. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pulmonology related to respiratory function. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and acute care protocols. Familiarity with medication administration procedures and clinical practices for various age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team at both Level I and Level II trauma centers.
