A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

- As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues.

+ Knowledge to effectively and safely use all therapeutic devices designed to support ventilation, administer medications, including oxygen, and monitor response of patient. + Chest physiotherapy and breathing exercises, along with patient education + The ability to safely and effectively administer chest physiotherapy to facilitate airway clearance. + The ability to clearly and effectively educate patients. + Perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation maintenance of natural and artificial airways and tracheostomy care + Skill at providing resuscitation and management of airways.- Job Requirements

Respiratory Care Practitioner:
