A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Epic experience for a full-time day shift position in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.
Details Full-time day shift schedule:
3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM 13-week assignment Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required Requirements Current RRT license (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Epic EMR experience required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
