Any 2 days within Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4PM (30) 1 Day Orientation 8AM-4

PM Respiratory Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments. Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment. Perform diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas sampling. Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response or code teams. Educate patients and families on respiratory care, medications, and equipment use. Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes to the healthcare team. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum 1+ year within the last 3 years as Respiratory Therapist. CDCR or CERNER experience required.
