Setting:

Short Term Acute Care Hospital (STACH) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across critical care and acute care, including ventilator management and weaning as directed. Assist in airway management activities, including intubation support and setup of BCPAP interfaces. Monitor patient status with ABG interpretation, pulse oximetry, capnography, and other respiratory metrics; adjust therapies per physician orders and protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, and therapists) to plan and implement care; document interventions accurately and timely. Adhere to infection control practices, equipment cleaning and maintenance, and safety protocols; participate in rounds and handoffs as required. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling night shifts and weekend rotations, with supervisor-directed scheduling as needed.
