This travel Respiratory Therapist role supports multiple branches across Colorado and Wyoming, offering variety, independence, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care throughout the region. Key Highlights Home Branch in Centennial, CO. Travel RT supporting 5 Colorado branches and 1 branch in
Casper, Wyoming Hours:
8:30 AM - 5:00
PM Work Arrangement:
Approximately 40% office and 60% field Travel territory ranges from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on branch location Occasional overnight travel may be required; per diem provided for meals Salary Range $36.00-$43.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, and applicable credentials. On-Call Transparency Approximately 4 on-call days per month Mix of phone support and patient home visits What You'll Do Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow ups Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs Performs other duties as required What We Look For Respiratory Therapist with an active CO and WY RT license. CRT and RRT credentials considered Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience Minimum 2 years of Home Healthcare/DME experience Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 - 50 lbs. Valid driver's license Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation Education Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy Hold a current CPR Certification Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply!
