2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least 1 year of hospital-based respiratory experience for a night shift travel assignment in Colorado. Details Night shift position at a hospital-based cardiopulmonary/respiratory therapy department Patient population spans multiple age groups and acuity levels, including neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care patients Responsibilities include mechanical ventilation management, arterial blood gas draws, airway management, and administration of respiratory medications Working knowledge of all cardiopulmonary equipment within CRT scope of training required 13-week contract Requirements Graduate of a COARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program with a CRT credential per NBRC guidelines Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting Active state license required if applicable Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT Experience with pulmonary diagnostics preferred Experience with cardiac diagnostics (EKG, Holter monitor, event monitor, cardiac stress testing) preferred DOB and SSN may be required for consideration Additional Information Deliver competent respiratory care across specialty areas including emergency, neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care Perform airway management including bag/mask ventilation, suction techniques, and assistance with intubation Initiate, monitor, and manage ventilator patients, including interpretation of flow volume and pressure volume curves Translate medication dosing for neonatal and pediatric patients using appropriate equipment and procedures Assist in orientation and training of new employees and students Adhere to facility dress code and infection control, safety, and risk management policies Participate in department in-services, staff meetings, and continuous quality improvement activities American Traveler Job ID #
