What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

AM Experience:
24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 6 months of Respiratory Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months. 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a license (required after submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. No current placement allowed at

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
•Minimum 6 months current
NICU RRT
experience.
•Must have Level 3 NICU experience.
•Must have PEDS experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
•Critical care experience preferred.
•PICU experience preferred.
Unit Details:
•Typical procedures include airway management, ventilator management, and ED support.
•Uses G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 equipment.
