1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/Pediatrics night shift position requiring 2+ years of Level 3 NICU and pediatric experience. Details NICU and Pediatrics unit within Respiratory Therapy department Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:30-07:00, various days of week Weekend requirement per unit needs No on-call requirement Epic charting system used Performs neonatal transports Requirements Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU and pediatric experience NICU experience required in work history RRT certification required State license required if applicable BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required Epic charting experience required Trauma Level II experience preferred Additional Information Provides respiratory care in Level 3 NICU and pediatric settings Performs procedures including intubation assist, CPAP/BiPAP, oscillating and pressure/volume ventilator management Manages care for conditions such as ARDS, RDS, RSV, and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Assists in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports Performs chest physiotherapy, ABG interpretation, and airway suctioning Scrub requirement: gray top, black bottoms First-time travelers accepted if they meet required experience Accepts local candidates within a 75-mile radius at local bill rate Maximum 10 RTO days per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during high-need dates Candidates previously employed by the health system or affiliates must disclose prior employment Return travelers who completed a full year on assignment may not be rebooked for at least one year
