Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, rotating or assigned shifts based on facility needs
Qualifications:
Current, valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active Respiratory Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Connecticut Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred) BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of one year recent acute care experience preferred Strong assessment and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and effective respiratory care to patients—neonatal to geriatric Monitor and operate ventilators and related life-support equipment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Perform diagnostic tests and manage therapeutic procedures Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with facility protocols
