Key Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Minimum of one year recent experience in acute care or similar clinical setting Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic conditions Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy based on medical needs and response Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
