Full-time travel assignment Flexible scheduling opportunities may be available
Essential Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state licensure for practice in Connecticut (or eligibility) Proven recent experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy Conduct ventilator management and perform diagnostic testing (e.g., ABGs, PFTs) Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on developing comprehensive care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and equipment
