Registered Respiratory Therapist in South Windsor, CT

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality respiratory care within a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key contributor, you will support the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders throughout a 13-week engagement.

Schedule:

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each Day shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm Specific days will be determined during the interview process

Key Qualifications:

Active registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current Connecticut Respiratory Care Practitioner license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative setting Dedication to consistently high standards of patient care and safety

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans Administer treatments and therapies related to respiratory care, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members on comprehensive treatment planning Monitor patient responses and adapt care plans as necessary Perform pulmonary function tests and document findings in accordance with facility protocols Maintain accurate, timely records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
