In this contract role, you will work a 13-week assignment providing critical respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

Three 12-hour shifts per week Day shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm Specific days will be determined during the interview process

Qualifications:

Current credential as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist Active Connecticut state license in good standing BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Previous clinical experience strongly preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality respiratory treatments and therapies to patients as ordered by medical staff Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and diagnostic devices Assess patients and evaluate effectiveness of treatments; modify approaches as needed Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans Provide patient education regarding respiratory treatments and disease management Uphold commitment to patient safety and infection control standards This is an ideal position for professionals dedicated to excellence in respiratory care and looking to make an immediate impact in a healthcare setting.
