Qualifications:
Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Demonstrated clinical experience in respiratory care (hospital or healthcare environment preferred) Solid understanding of respiratory equipment, procedures, and clinical best practices BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong communication and patient assessment skills
Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders Assess patient condition and make appropriate modifications to therapy under physician direction Monitor and document patient responses, including vital signs and progress Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and hygiene Provide education to patients and families about respiratory health and equipment usage Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a sterile and supportive environment This contract role offers an opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with the chance to make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
